Anyone who paid attention to foreign policy (most Americans have no clue and don’t care) knows this. But this one American comedian, never became all that famous, screamed (for his whole set) about how he supported the war in Iraq and other ruthless policies because he wanted “cheap gas.”

I think that honestly sums up, the typical American perspective on foreign policy. I was always terrified of this policy turning all Malcolm X. I always feared chickens coming home to roost and the boomerang.
