…ailures in the media can be mapped to their modes of sharing and the networks they are embedded in. The liberal-minded critics saw a failure of establishment media to present the facts reliably while the conservative-minded critics saw a failure of establishment media to represent their views of the world.
Are both correct? Which is to say, is there a lot of factually inaccurate information being presented? (It seems so) And is there a particular worldview not being represented. (Which I would argue is not the job of “news” but whatever.)
