Is this supposed to be an insult to Eminem’s lyricism? The man is a lyrical genius who rivals T.S. Eliot…and I suppose your snide remark about “Ebonics” is an attempt to discredit the highly complex and nuanced African-American dialect that Eminem utilizes to convey his poetry.

Talk to a linguist before you make your snide remakes about “ebonics.” Educate yourself. Read a book about languages and how they are structured. Know that what you refer to “ebonics” is an entire network of highly complex dialects, strewn all across America, that are fluid, creative, and ever- changing.

And, I hope you know, as an American, your speech is far from the King’s English. In that regard, you’re just as “ignorant” as anyone speaking “ebonics.”
