Sadly, this is exactly what the Obama presidency was…it was our last attempt at the semblance of a normal American presidency. It was highly illusory. Hindsight being 20/20 we can all see that, now…sigh. I had the illusion figured out four years into the Obama presidency. I feared what would come after. I imagined it would not be ethical or competent. I was right, but I never imagined it would go this far off the rails, this quickly.
