This reads like a scene from Full Metal Jacket…immediately I thought of the young man who killed himself…because clearly he was not cut out for that life!

So there were a lot of young men like him because of some project? This is so tragic. The way this country has just wasted human life for its own amusement it seems. No way some one like that young man (or any young man, really) should have been sent to Nam. This is very disturbing.
