This story really deeply touched me, for a number of reasons…one is the farmers. All throughout American history, this group of people has been dismissed and under appreciated and clearly deserving of so much better. I am really missing the real farmers, because all the food is beginning to taste like plastic. Getting really good, fresh, organic food is getting really difficult.

You don’t know what you got until it’s gone. I miss your dad, and all the farmers like him. I remember when they were working hard, and all the food tasted great! (My grandkids probably won’t believe that there was time when the food was affordable and amazing tasting.) These farmers deserved better; we didn’t look out for them and now we’re all paying the price.
