Well if you look at the world today, plenty of evidence of this certainly. I’ve only read one book, The Time Falling Bodies Take to Light, that even hints at the existence of matriarchies, prior to the dawn of the Sumerian civilization. A really interesting read! So I can’t claim to know anything much about Matriarchys or how they functioned, but that book suggested, they were at least a little sexist…against men. You know, the whole bull in the bottle phenomenon.
I think Patriarchy as we have seen it play out over the past 2000 years is destructive to people, both male and female. I wouldn’t necessarily jump into straight duality that this destruction is based solely on gender or that it can be done through controlling women’s reproductive systems. That’s were you totally threw me. I’m just not following your train of thought, on that.
