Well…it happens all the time, in fact, I think sadly, this is the way most people, a good 70 to 90% of the population think about other people, if we’re really going to be honest; and this is why “identity politics” is such a thing. People don’t want to bee seen like that, so they stress certain parts of their identity.
Honestly, I don’t think we are actually disagreeing. I do agree with much of what you’re saying. I guess where I am getting tripped up is I don’t believe a call to abandon “identity politics” is even a remotely realistic option.
It’s like a year 3038, request. We are nowhere near that evolved as a species.
