Wow…this is just amazing on so many levels, you should write a book about these experiences! What do they mean? I worked in a very organized environment doing a job. Things got done, slowly.
I worked in an extremely disorganized and chaotic environment, where it was extremely difficult to get anything done, doing essentially the same job. In the second environment, the creativity was off the scale. People had to reach goals creatively because there was no structure to assist with goal achievement.
It was then that I realized that organization, was the nemesis of creativity, and vice versus. But what we really need is both, right? To have things be working at an optimal level? Like if the factory people could spend some time in the studio? And vice versa? This has really struck a chord in me!
